About Us

We are a dedicated speech pathology practice that has grown into a team of ten, including six qualified speech pathologists, two allied health assistants who are current speech pathology students, and two administrative staff members.

Our team brings extensive experience in working with both adults and children with a wide range of communication and swallowing needs. This includes individuals with intellectual disabilities (ranging from mild to profound), dual diagnoses involving intellectual disability and mental health conditions, and those with autism spectrum disorder.

We also have expertise in:

  • Managing complex dysphagia (swallowing difficulties)

  • Developing mealtime management plans

  • Educating families and support staff in group homes on safe swallowing practices and the latest IDDSI (International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative) guidelines

  • Supporting individuals with non-verbal or complex communication needs

  • Implementing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems, including technology-based solutions

  • Treating voice disorders, stuttering, and literacy challenges such as dyslexia

  • Providing therapy for individuals with progressive neurological conditions such as MND, Huntington’s disease, and Parkinson’s disease

  • Supporting recovery and rehabilitation following stroke, traumatic brain injury, and head and neck cancer

  • Conducting modified barium swallow studies (MBSS) to assess swallowing function

We proudly offer services to both adult and paediatric clients. Currently, our paediatric services are available to children aged 7 years and older who are either self-managed or plan-managed under the NDIS.
